The Salt journey started in Australia in 2001, where Jo and Nick fed their passion for food, travel and speciality coffee while working in marketing and publishing. They returned to the UK and set up shop in the South West and, frustrated in their search for great places to eat out, they started helping food and drink businesses to stand out from the crowd.

Salt has grown since those early days but our mission is the same. We help food, hospitality, tourism and lifestyle brands prosper.

We believe in the power of great ideas, well planned marketing and stunning design to help you elevate your customers’ experience into something meaningful and memorable.

And as well as working for some brilliant clients we also publish our own monthly Food magazine, The Indy Coffee Guides for regions across the UK and Ireland and the Trencherman’s Guide.

We’re serious about protecting the planet which is why we print using solvent-free inks on FSC-certified paper and work with printers that hold ISO14001 certification for environmental good practice.
