A magazine for online wine merchant Wickhams
We were delighted to create a magazine for Great British wine merchants Wickham Wine.
This award-winning online wine retailer offers a carefully curated collection of bottles from all over the world, but pays special attention to wines and spirits crafted in the UK – and the South West in particular.
The brief was to create a smart, entertaining magazine that showcases the wine, tells the winemakers’ stories and treats loyal customers as ‘members’ of the Wickham Wines club. And the drop is the successful result.
The A4-size magazine features seasonal picks from Wickham’s director Dan Farrell-Wright and team. It’s published four times a year and distributed to customers via wine deliveries.
Feedback from readers has been extremely positive with Dan receiving emails of approval as soon as the first mailout dropped. Two of the first customers to make contact said:
‘I loved The Drop – I enjoyed having something to physically read instead of an email. It’s like a wine version of the National Trust magazine. Jon loved the Cabernet Sauvignon in the box we got at Christmas so I might have to order some of that, he was reminded of it by the magazine,’ Claire
