Only establishments which meet the very highest quality criteria are included in the gourmet’s favourite dining guide – from rustic dining pubs to innovative urban restaurants.

Celebrating the glamour and theatre of extraordinary food in extraordinary locations, it’s the portal to some very memorable experiences.

Since we were asked by Michael Caines MBE to take over the guide in 2009, we’ve built it from a small pamphlet which featured just 25 wonderful restaurants to the 160 page annual guide book with 161 member restaurants that it is today. Each year the latest guide is launched with a fabulous dining event featuring a multi-course meal cooked by Trencherman’s chef members. We’ve built it a series of websites, introduced annual Trencherman’s Awards at top locations such as The Seafood Restaurant and Gidleigh Park. We also promote the member restaurants all year round through fortnightly email newsletters and PR campaigns.
