South West & South Wales Independent Coffee Guide No5

Orange is the new black

We loved the South West & South Wales Independent Coffee Guide No 4’s black and gold design (as did our Instagram followers judging by the number of times it was snapped) but a bright, bold and ballsy new look for the fifth edition was the key to the next level of social media success.

Covering Penzance to Pembrokeshire, the new guide is crammed with almost 200 indie coffee shops, cafes and roasteries to kick-start a year of caffeinated adventures. The days of scrolling through Google only to find lacklustre coffee shops are over. With handy maps, geeky details and useful info (opening times, alternatives milks and disabled access for example), the travel-sized book will lead you to the doors of the South West of England and South Wales’ speciality institutions as well as some fresh finds.

With five years of coffee shop hopping under our belts, we opened the fifth edition with an insight into the speciality industry. Looking at how far the coffee scene in the South West has progressed in the last half decade and how it will continue grow, the long-form feature features industry pioneers and throws a spotlight on issues such as gender and the rise of the boutique chain.

The South West & South Wales Independent Coffee Guide No 5 is available to buy at good book shops, the venues included and on the Independent Coffee Guide website – join the caffeine revolution here.
